DIY Reef Controller

I would rather have all this and put it all in one box i do belive next time around you could make the boards a bit bigger (Please) I can dame near use the smallest projet box from rat shack

sounds like a good reason to get a bigger set up.

You're right. Now if I can convince my wife to get rid of the baby grand!!!

Has anyone else tried the UTFT_due or the UTFT_touch libraries? I'm curious to see if it's just me that can't get the examples to compile.

Did you move the library into your arduino/libraries folder? It complies fine for me, although I'm not ecstatic about the extra 10k bytes.

I did, I pulled the libraries and reinstalled them and I got the sketches to compile. I get what I would expect when I load the CTE_50inch_800x480 on the mega, but I get a white screen when I load the Due CTE_50inch_800x480 in the DUE. Maybe this library is fitted for the sheild and I will have to jump something to get it to work with the ITeadstudio sheild.

I didn't look at it that closely but it initiates the spi library so if its uses the sd card at all for the example it won't work with the due unless you connect the spi pins with jumpers.

I should be able to get the arduino mega code done and uploaded by tomorrow for you guys to check out while I finalize the mega328 code.

Would love, absolutely LOVE to see the code you've come up with! Looking forward to your progress with the Due as well.

Looking forward to this. I'll get my motherboard soldered tomorrow and time to put this setup together. Thanks again Nick for all the work.

hey Nick can you post a jpg of the motherboard sketch. im having problems finding r10. SMD solder is not hard, im getting the hang of it , but super thanks for soldering those teeny tiny caps. those would have made my eyes cross.

Soldering took me 2 hours.

Any word on the update?
Checked the google download site didn't see anything. I have been playing with the shift register sketch. I'm fixing to drop a hose in a bbucket to play with the ATO sketch.
Can't wait!

That was version 1 board from back around first of the year it is some of the post from back then there was a battery problem that he had a fix for but then he decided on new boards if you look back then you can see the original pressure sensor also
