I've got this thread permanently open on my phone. I've been trying to interpret a weather sketch on this thread that seems to be impressive, however the coding is still above my head.

Steps in the right direction. thanks Rott!

Now a question for everyone. I'm working on the Sunrise/sunset schedule.

What is the importance level to everyone on being able to control the sunset time?
Just with the UI...individuals would still be able to change it in the sketch.

It's just makes for easier coding with the schedule matrix if its a 12 hour light schedule default. You can set the start time, and then runs a 12 hour schedule from that point.

Aqua, this is Isaac Croas from youtube, I just wanted to express my gratitude and sincere thanks for all the help you've given me so far with the hardware on your channel.

Thanks!!!!

My pleasure man! Good luck with your build, and I look forward to seeing it.
So, you better have a journal set up somewhere when you get going.

Will do, right now, I'm working on a supplies list and hardware design. Thinking about going fancy with a 4in+ lcd or oled heh :D

Here is the corrected schematic. (Which is from page 2 of the above link) There were some pins on one of the op amps that were reversed.

I just built the circuit on some strip board, a little messy but easy enough to do.

I had most of the components lying around but it should only cost a few $'s to put together.

Hi all, I am getting ready to setup my 265 Gal tank in the next few months and wanted to build a Arduino controller, I was wondering would it be worthwhile to use a Arduino Due with NXP PCA9685 for 16 extra PWM channels and setup the blues and white on 3 separate channels each as well as setup the remaining 4 channels for Violet , Deep Red, Cyan and Blue for full spectrum. I am thinking with a 7ft tank I would be able to have the sunrise/sunset move from left to right as well as have cloud coverage move randomly. Thoughts?
