What probe are you using? Atlas-scientific?
I got one off eBay which was loads cheaper. Got a probe with a 0.01 resolution which works perfectly.

Here is the corrected schematic. (Which is from page 2 of the above link) There were some pins on one of the op amps that were reversed.
I just built the circuit on some strip board, a little messy but easy enough to do.
I had most of the components lying around but it should only cost a few $'s to put together.
How do you calibrate it to work with the probe?
