Do any of you need Cyclopeeze or Mysis?

Hi all,

I put in an order for frozen food from Jehmco and had no idea how huge the blocks will be. Here is a link to the food in my freezer (it's the left middle shelf)

I have an extra block of Cyclop-eeze (about 750grams or 8" x 10" x 3/4") and an extra half block of Mysis (full block = 5.5 pounds)

The Cyclop was 38.94 per block, the Mysis 28.82 for the full block.

I could sell the cyclop whole or in 3rds for $10.00 per third.
The mysis - well, devide 15$ by any fraction you would like.

It is, BTW, some of the best quality food I've seen.

Let me know, maybe we could arrange it for the November meeting or earlier,

thanks

Rainer

They are Mysis relicta, but I doubt they are Piscine Energetics brand.

If anything like the last batch I got from Jehmco, then they are large/jumbo sized mysis. I liked to clean them well before feeding. Took awhile before I got my fish to like them. Soak em in some garlic or selcon to entise.

Very meaty though! We included about a 25% block in the last Fish Mash we made (at Linda's), so those of you using it, what have your fish been doing with it?

Rainer,

I'll take a third of the cyclopeez for $10.00 :)

Tony,

They eat that stuff right up and the bigger pieces that do manage to get to my sand bed, my starfish pull those into the rocks for dinner :D

Funny about fish. Mine always munched on them. I'll take whatever is leftover. It is a good shrimp to put into home blends- though my banngers go nuts over it.

OK,
we have 4 people taking 25% of a half block:
Tony, Keith, Michael, Nickels ( Nickels, they are not PE as mentioned above, no problem if you don't want them, but they are great!).

Anyone for any Cyclop eeze?

Rainer,

I dont want the mysis...

I want a third of the cyclop eeze :D !!!!

:p

Linda and I are splitting a block of cyclopeeze from the food order. If it's the size of Jehmco's I may have some to share

OK, here is an update:

Tony - Mysis - $3.75
Michael - Mysis - $3.75
Nickels - Mysis - $3.75

Keith - Cyclop Eeze - $10.00

we still have 1/8th of a block of Mysis and 2/3rds of a block of Cyclop eeze.

Rainer- I can bring my masonry chisel and heavy hammer. The blocks are big, and a knife is impossible to cut trough it with. It is probably best to keep it in one solid block until the meeting- less what you cut off for yourself. Send a pm if you want me to grab some dry ice from lab for folks.

Hi all,

I am still not sure if I can get a replacement for my on-call for this weekend.

However, Steve has kindly agreed to take to frozen foor to the meeting if I can't go.

Please let me know if you prefer me pre-cutting the blocks, or having Michael do it at the meeting; it would be better since the food stays fresher! Obviously, I will take off mine and Steve's.

Michael, thank you very much for offering - if they decide to have you do it, but you have a change of heart - please let me know and I will chisel them right here.

BTW, I will have a container with ice packs (which I will need back), so, some dried ice would be great.

I suggest to all getting some of this frozen food to bring a container where you can transport your portion, something like a styro lunch pale or something,

thanks,

Rainer
