I got a RBTA today and once the lights whent out the Nem started to move off the rock it came on... what was left behind is what looks like a very very tiny Nem? I would say its maybe 1/8th of an inch in diamiter? Its got little tenticles that looked inflated...
Well, I woke up this morning and the Nem is pretty much in the same spot. It is right next to the little guy, when he opens up the is going to cover the little guy though.
+1 on the above message. I had something similar to that happen to me and it was a tiny RBTA about the size of the tip of my finger. One of my fellow club members said what probably happened was that when I removed the foot of one of the mothers from a crevice in order to sell it a small piece was left and it regenerated. I tried to keep up with it but in a 125g it's kinda hard - it disappeared after a while and I could never find it again so apparently it didn't survive.
Well regardless of what it was its gone now. The rock the RBTA came on was infested with bristle worms. I checked on the RBTA last night after the lights when out and there were worms coming out of every possible spot on the rock.
So I carefully worked the foot of the RBTA off the rock and placed him on another rock. He attached at first but later let go, I picked him up again and placed him at the bottom of the rock and let him crawl up to the ledge spot. I found him this morning right where I wanted him to begin with =)
I am glad it is now where you wanted it to be. I personally would not have moved it. I remember when I was a newbie I use to freak out about bristle worms. I no longer do that unless they are large, like the size of pen. You will always have them and they do serve a purpose.
