Do clownfish jump?

Almost all fish can and will jump under the right (or rather wrong) conditions.
I lost more fish to jumping that to Ich.

Yes clowns can jump and sometimes do. Spooking a clown during tank cleaning or chasing by another fish can result in clownfish jumping.

When in doubt, just cover it

When in doubt, just cover it

We just got a pair of "flurry" Frostbite 3 days ago that I fell in love with at a local fish store. I commented to my husband last night that they were so happy in their new home only to find just 1 of them in there this morning. Tragically, she was found behind our dresser a good foot from the tank. So devastating 😭. There are no other fish in the tank to spook them so I have a theory that she might've gotten too close to the intake in the corner and that's what spooked her. What's even worse and more unbelievable, we ordered a cover & it arrived yesterday. We decided we'd wait until today to install it. I've never been more devestated to lose a fish.

Do clowns jump? That question is kind of like.. Do dogs bite?

Yes sometimes :)

Sir, does your dog bite?

No

Man bends over and pets dog, which turns around and bites man.

I thought you said your dog didn't bite?

That is not my dog!

I have 2 clowns living in my overflow. They got themselves there, they are going to have to get themselves out, since I can't.
