Do Hawaiian Flame Wrasses usually eat nori?

Just picked up a yellow tang and put a sheet of seaweed on the clip in the tank.
Before he could get to it my trio of Hawaiian Flame Wrasses devoured the whole sheet! Is this typical? I thought that wrasses were carnivores for the most part.
I keep them VERY well fed with spectrum, ORA Glo, PE Mysis and Rod's food.

My flames eat the purple nori by Julian Sprung. They would rather eat mysis and other frozen food before the eat the algae though.

The fairy wrasses are primarily carnivores feeding off the zooplankton in the water column but will eat algae if available. Almost all the fish I have which are known carnivores love Julian Sprung's purple algae. I have a saddleback butterfly that eats it right out of my hand.

all my fairy wrasses eat anything and everything i throw in da tank! so nori would not be a problem at all but it takes some time for them ot get use to

Learn something new everyday

The nori was just the regular stuff from the Asian food market, it was not the julian sprung.

Is there a difference?
