Do I have a problem..?

So I have read that if you see the mouth look like this you have a problem...?
I got this carpet for my clowns....and they dont use it but still cool. For the most part you can see the mouth or the center part....is this normal. or do i have an issue..?

That's not out of the ordinary for a haddoni. Did you just feed the tank? If so, it's a typical feeding response. As soon as something hits one of my gig's tentacles and it thinks its food, it starts to open its mouth like your haddoni looks in the photo.

I did not feed....but my gobie somtimes drops sand on it and he looks like this ...can that turn into a bad thing..?

I wouldn't worry about it too much. However, if the mouth becomes loose or it's gaping -- where it appears so loose that it's unable to close it and you can see the inside of the nem -- then you may want to be concerned.
