Do not buy from aquacave!

well i am still waiting to be a customer with aqua cave i called them to price match the price that brs was offering and I was told to save them and my self the trouble of price matching and just order from brs i could not believe that i was being instructed to take my business elsewhere by enrique , so i bought the 3 balllast , 3 bulbs and reflectors from the company they told me to buy from because it would be too much trouble to meet the price being offered ..well maybe the next time i want a price match they will honor it and i can say alot of postitive things about the company then but till then i guess i will just do what they encourage me to do and shop where i am pointed to shop.

We only can price match on advertised price not special pricing on BRS preferred customers. We sent you an email that we cant price match on back ordered items. Pardon us for not being able to accommodate your request. Thanks.
 
Aquacave is good. I bought stuffs from there before and they are good in responding and I will definitely buy from them again.wish they carry more stuffs like BRS

I understand that your company was busy last week. However, proper planning leads to better execution which will then leads to a happy customer, me!!! Being a first customer I'm just disappointed. I hope you see where I'm coming from. Thanks for the dialogue. BTW, good strategy for showing that you have the best interest of your customers. Doing so helps pacify my disappointment and maybe will consider your business again in the future.
 
Aquacave is great. They are my firt choice when I order online. They are very helpful on the phone too! Keep up the great work.
 
Never had any issues with Aquacave, and they give you a call if something is going on with your order, as opposed to an email. A shame this thread's title made me open it. The only reason I did was because I ordered from them on Monday and thought that perhaps something has happened since my last order.

We are hampered last week due to Holiday schedules (Thursday) and UPS no ground service (Friday) this does not count orders from Wednesday night. Pardon us for not being able to respond and deliver as we usually do, however we are catching up on days of non shipment. Again, Thank you for your understanding.
 
I feel sorry for Aquacave. They are a good company and do bend over backwards to help people.

I think last year or the year before, I spent probably 5k or more in getting equipments for my big tank and I didn't have too much problem. I think I ordered during the holidays too and they forgot to send me a tracking number.

Not a big deal as things still arrived as stated. People need to chill..small things can be resolved...big things are another story. I ordered a few more times this year. No problem still.

But sometimes, I can't understand the person that is speaking on the phone lol.

Its literally a handful of irrational people that seem to have had problems with AquaCave. Those are the same ones that also linger here and repeat their experience incessantly and refuse to just move on, almost like an obsession. If your problem was so terrible and life changing that you feel the need to post over and over on it, then post a review of it in the Vendor Experiences forum and be done with it.

The vast majority have had multiple good experiences with them. There are some legitimate complaints that come up, and AC has remedied those very well. I have probably close to 2 dozen orders with them so far, never one single messed up order, phone calls on out of stock items, and a couple returns with zero problems. Packing is great, the shipping has always been within a couple days. but of course the irrational ones flip out when there are a couple delays because of the busiest shopping day of the year.

I still buy stuff from them. Even got a White Water Blower from them. Heavy bugger. lol
 
I'm so glad you guys keep bumping my thread.....not.

I had a problem and I posted about it because I thought that it would help me get my problem resolved. Interestingly enough it was resolved THE NEXT DAY and while they try to say they sent the lights the day before all evidence suggests they sent out my lights the day of or the day after I made this post. Before that I just got the runaround everyday. What this means to you, the reader, is that I am not sorry one bit that I made my original post that got so much attention because I think it helped me get what I want out of life. You may disagree, I really don't care.

My problem is now resolved and I am happy with my lights and the ultimate end result. Often times the squeaky wheel gets the grease and I have no trouble being the squeaky wheel. Too many people in this world will walk all over you if you are a passive type of person. I'm a big guy so I guess I just never played that way. If I feel wronged or mistreated I'll be the first one to speak up about it demanding justice, or fairness, or whatever else you want to call it.

BUT PLEASE PEOPLE, LET THIS THREAD DIE! The OP's(me) problem was resolved long ago.

You got what you wanted at the cost of bashing a reputable vendor that you didn't even give a chance to make it right. That's all that matters, right? Enjoy your lights.
 
Not complete Rubbish. They lost my business, because they refuse to ship to an alternate address from what my credit card is registered to... which seems very weird to me as most other companies ask for both billing and shipping addresses.

My case is somewhat specialized .......

But Aquacave refused to ship to phyical address because it was different from my Credit card mailing address.... And they insisted upon using UPS. And this was after 3 days of trying to explain the situatiuon.. They simply denied/canceled my order....

Not good customer service in my opinion.... So Marine Depot got my order...


Wrong.... I ordered from Aquacave on Black Friday and had my order shipped to my work address without a problem. Your order must have sounded fraudulent or sent up red flags because of your inability to simplify your request to send your package elsewhere due to you special shipping issues.

+1 for Aquacave :D

I appreciate the post - there was only one correct response when you called them - "We apologize for the inconvenience, we'll send you another one immediately." ATI shouldn't even be brought up in the conversation, and you shouldn't have to call multiple times, and post, in order to get service. Patience is required for the tank, it should not be necessary for a vendor who provides you a product that doesn't work and doesn't immediately resolve the situation. I am getting ready to make some large purchases for my new tank so I'll take the experience you had into consideration.
