Do you have a great white shark looking for a friend

He tried to do the tricks with it but the water kept splashing, but I have a great pic of them cuddling together! It's so precious :)

Basically to make a long story short ... A friend that does aquarium service had a client that wanted a shark but didn't want to pay for a shark so he bought a small remora.. Fast forward a few years, now the same client is tired of water splashing all over the floor by this guy and wants it out . So my friend asks me if I can hold a 18-20 inch remora because at his shop he doesn't have a tank big enough. I originally said no, so he said the client was probably going to dispose of it so I felt bad and said yes. Well to my surpise 20 inches was more like 40 inches and now I own a gigantic remora that probably weighs around 15-20 pounds lol. This guy is actually very nice he eats out of my hand .
I would really like to find him a home

That was a very honorable thing to do. I commend you.

Could he be let back into the ocean? If so, maybe when one of the local fish stores takes a trip to LA to pick out live stock they could maybe release him into the ocean.

I would be willing to donate some money towards the rental of a vehicle larger enough to transport it.

Exactly what I was thinking.

It's dangerous to release captive animals back in to the wild. There is no way of knowing what bacteria and parasites they have been exposed to in captivity. You could end up releasing something that could crash the ecosystem.

It's release it back to the ocean where it "MIGHT" have a chance or keep in captive, in tanks far to small and it suffer and prob. have to be killed/die anyways. Against the law or not I would try to get it to the ocean but at 40 inches good luck
