DOC 9002 pump failure

The nano pump on the DOC 9002 seems to have stopped working. I tried cleaning it but the impeller doesn't seem to be removable. I was able to get the pump to turn in dry condition but once it's submerged, it stops working.

Any advice on if there's anything further I can do to fix the pump? Or will it need to be replaced?

the pump in my 9002 has also failed today so i am also looking for some help on where to find a replacement

I would give it a soak in a 50 percent diluted vinegar solution to see if there are any deposits that break free.

Tunze products have a two year warranty, and all warranty work for the US is done thru Roger (rvitko) and Rodney (wartskin) who post on this forum and will be back on Monday

thanks shawnz28. i soaked the pump in 50/50 water-vinegar for 3 hours and tried to run it again. no success.

i'll await to hear from Roger or Rodney.

Hi Roger/Rodney,

Please advise if there's any further troubleshooting I can do to fix the pump. Or can I get a replacement. I purchased the skimmer from mareine depot on June 1, 2007 and can provide the receipt.
