DOC 9005 Buzzing & Overflowing

Hi,
I just installed a new DOC 9005 in the sump of a 45 gallon reef tank that I'm setting up. I assembled the 9005.400 extension set as per the instructions, and it looks good. I'm getting good foam right away, and adjusting the height of the foam in the riser neck is easy with small adjustments to the air inlet screw.

The problem is that there unit is making an annoying buzzing sound. The body of the skimmer doesn't seem to be vibrating, so I assume it's the pump. Any advise for getting it to quiet down?

Also, there's a small hole (~1/4 inch) in the back of the body of the skimmer about 7/8th of the way up. When the skimmer's running a stream of water flowes out through this hole. Is this normal?

Thanks for any advice.

The bush bearing is loose, take the pump out and press the bush bearing in. This is a collar that goes around the hole the drive unit sits in.

Water should flow out of the hole.
