If the 9005 skimmer is submerged to the blue line and the air adjustment valve is all the way open (removed) should the skimmer be able to overflow the cup?

My 9005 skims very dry. If I dose aminos or add food the foam head dies for quite some time which I know is normal but I would like to skim wet under these conditions.

Is the 9010 more stable and/or can it skim wetter then the 9005.

What is the difference between the 9010 and the 9015?

The 9005 should be able to skim wet, however sometimes with the screw fully removed the bubbles get too large, try with the screw open about 6 turns. The 9010 and 9015 are the same except for the cup, the 9015 can take the air adjust fully open for max airflow, the 9010 will basically collect water in this condition.
