Do your fishes have. Favorite food? My McCoskers practically wets his pants over live Blackworms. The Blue Flasher loves clam and will grab pieces big as his own head, even snatching them away from larger fish, and race away with them.
Do your fish have a particular favorite food that makes them crazy?

i feed my brittle stars and a couple of my corals pea-sized pieces of shrimp. if i don't have them attached well to the skewer when i feed the star fish, my red velvet fairy wrasse will dart over and steal it. i've dropped tiny pieces of fresh shrimp in and the wrasses and hawkfish go bat poop crazy!

My fish love LRF,mysis and the homemade food I made... They will all eat NLS and anything else I throw in the tank but anything frozen takes the cake

All my fish go crazy over beef heart when I feed it, I think they like it because I feed it only once in a while and it probably tastes different from all the marine food they are used to.

most of my fish eat everything, but my Bangaii cardinal won't touch anything but Mysis and brind. my Lamark angel wont touch flake or pellets. last month I started feeding freeze dried blackworms and all the fish go nuts for it.

Mine go absolutely nuts over Rods. They also quite like Reef Nutrition's ROE, and happily gobble up any mysis I put near the tank. I feed the ROE almost every morning (super easy to squirt about a tsp full into the tank) and mysis about 4-5 nights a week. I feed Rods on the other nights, so they may just go crazier for it because they get it less frequently, I don't know for sure.

Live blackworms, but I think that's cheating since that's live food. :)

Larry's fish frenzy and clams on the half shell are close seconds though.

Favorite dry food is Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 small pellets.

how do you prepare this for feeding?

I buy San Francisco Bay Brand Beefheart from my local Petco. Here is what it looks like:

It comes finely minced. However some of the chunks are still too big for my cleaner wrasse (the main reason I got it, to entice him to eat) so I may chop the cubes up even further in the future prior to feeding.

Probably would not recommend this as a staple.

Yup it was mainly to getting cleaner wrasse to start eating and it did the job quite well. I was just surprised how ferociously my other fish went after it compared to the usual mysis.
