Doing a little 'light' research. If you have LEDs please respond.

I built a LED fixture a couple of years ago and would never go back to MH. I built a chiller but don't need it as the tank stays about 4 degrees cooler. My tank is 6' long and I use 36 3 watt LEDs half white and half blue. I always had a hard time growing acropora, now it grows wild as does montipora and all the LPS.

It's hard to see any colors here but it is brighter than the MHs were.

I think its really difficult switching from MH/T5 to LED, especially with a tank full of corals.

I noticed my LPS's color popped more after feeding it mysis shrimp. Anyone notice this with their LPS?

I made the switch from MH to LED's 3 years ago. I've never had the kind of growth that I get now. I use Par 38 Rapids except for 2 actinic boosts. There is a great thread on here about LEDs. I think Beaker is the OP. Here's some pics.
