Hey guys,

So I bought 2 Anemones last night. The thing is I have 4 Oscilarious Clowns and a Domino Damsel, and the Damsel has taken over the Anemone. The Clowns won't go near it, but the Damsel house definatly found a home. Obviously i bought both pieces of Anemone for the Clowns.... Any comments or Suggestions?

I believe Domino Damselfish will host in anemones. However, that anemone needs to be fed because of it being bleached. Otherwise it will not survive long enough for the Domino to outgrow the hosting behavior.

This is a very common thing for Dascyllus damselfish to do. If you look up images of Macrodactylis dooreensis anemones in the wild you will almost always see a few juveniles hanging around. The funny thing is Long tentacle anemones are not a natural host anemone for ocellaris clowns. I think in the wild the damsels grow out of this behavior as they get larger but I am not entirely sure of this.

Thanks guys. Still waiting for any one of my four Clowns to take some kind of interest in either one of the anemone.... So far they aren't looking very interested....
