Don't know what's up with my Alk tests.

Trouble testing dKH in my tank. :mad2: Originally had a Sera test kit and it kept comming up as 6-7dKH. So I bought a Sailfert kit and it reads 10-11 dKH. Both are at opposite ends of normal range but there not even close to each other. Anyone know what gives?

I would trust the salifert more

I would trust the Salifert...........IMO, 10-11 is ok. I am usually around 10 - 10.6

it could be that a test aging and slowly becoming bad. Salifert - good call

just to be on a safe side, take water sample to LFS for a "second opinion"

Yeah... I would trust Salifert more. Also, I always keep my Alk around 10-11.
