Don't Shoot The Messenger

From my understanding bridges were not burnt. There are a bunch of options that the board was looking at when Dowling looked to be coming to an end. However we were lead to believe that things have changed and we did get all of the bookings we wanted during the time of NERAC. This change in time came as a shock to us and a blow with our relations with Dowling.

Cool, so do you want to talk to Les or do you want me to?

I can't promise he'll go for it, but if he did, it would be huge!

Why not ask Les if he's willing to give us another chance?
Maybe offer him some cash this time? This was and would be a perfect meeting place.

I have never, ever been exposed to a better idea than that. You have my vote.

Les and his lovely wife, Micki own a dance studio, close to the store. That is where this club was born. There is ample space there for well over 30 people.
I'm really getting my hopes up here.

It would be such a great place and I'm sure that Les has heard already that this is being talked about. His agents are everywhere!:strooper:

It's just a matter of getting him to agree to it.

IMO, it would be worth it to rent the studio from him on Saturdays. At a reduced cost of course. :D
The meeting time and place would never change. Which would mean they are consistent and which would mean there would no longer be any confusion about when or where the meeting was.
Which would mean... You get my point.

Plus (I'm repeating myself) Les's new store would get a big push from the LIRA members and would could even make a special sponsor membership for those looking to consistently sell animals and equipment at the meetings. This money would go towards helping pay for the meeting place.

Two guys get into a boat Pete and Repeat, Pete jumps out, who's left?

I'm getting waaaaaay ahead of meself!

Kick the idea around BOD.

we should keep throwing around as many compliments as we can, cause i'm sure he'll read this eventually. we should butter him up as much as possible :)

hmmm, even I might come out of retirement to make a meeting there! I visited Les the other day, of course Keith was there...lol...but it was good to see Les again.

It would be good to see everyone around again, i haven't seen Bill or Lonnie in a long time, Chris you too but i catch you on the computer every once in a while. Not to mention meet some of the new names. I'll even bring some beer!

The funny part is, dowling is about 1/4 mile from my house...go figure
