Dont think the photocell is working on my 7096... Please help

Hey Roger,

I hooked up the 6105s to the 7096 and I saw the photocell light up when I was transferring info to the unit from my computer. I then hooked up the controller to the pumps and ran the setup in my 72 bow but I dont see the photocell light up anymore. The cord felt a bit loose and Im not even sure if it disconnects or is permanently attached to the 7096. I tried to hook it back up to the computer to see if it would light up and it did not. The unit is not even a year old so Im unsure whats next? On the flip side, Im VERY happy with how quiet the pumps are and how strong of a flow they produce. Great buy for me but now I just want to get the photocell running properly.

If I need to send it in for repair what do i use in the meanwhile? I cant run the pumps full blast in my 72 or my tank will be a whirlpool!~!!!! Oh, Im also missing the instruction manual for the controller...cant seem to find it.

Checked it again and wire is a bit loose but the cell lit up... I think its on the fritz.

There is one screw on the back of the unit that opens it. The photocell disconnects inside, it has a 4pin microplug. You may just need to make sure it is fully plugged in.

Sent in my unit to Roger and he repaired it same day and sent it back. Thats some serious customer service! Thats why I went with Tunze... Thanks Roger!
