For those of you that maintain an ULN sytem, what supplements do you add?
I'm after better growth. Colors in my system are ok but growth is a little slow. Tank is a 120, 35 sump and a 30b frag tank. Lighting is 250w Radiums on BlueWave ballasts. The big three are maintiained with a GEO 624 reactor in which I use coarse ARM media and 20% dolomite. 25% of my top off water goes through my Kalk stirrer. I use an MSX200 skimmer and also run ozone to maintain 375-390mV ORP. Water changes are 20% every 4-6 weeks. I also run carbon in a Phosban reactor.
I currently do not feed the corals directly but am not opposed to doing so. Up until this point I thought they would get enough from the fish waste since I'm stocked rather heavily. I just started treating my fishes' food with aminos in hopes of indirectly providing additional nutrition to the corals.
