Dosing Schedule

Finally took the plunge and got myself a doser (Coral Box WiFI Doser). Since I have been manually dosing for about 8 months I didn't really have a strict schedule. I would usually put CA in the am and Alk before bed.

Now that I have a doser where I can create a schedule I am trying to sort out what would work best. My tank is 70g lightly stocked with some LPS and 5 medium SPS corals and 5 fish. I dose 40ml of CA and 40ml of Alk per day MG 10ml once a week.

Could someone suggest how many times a day should I set to spread the full dose? Also, do I dose CA and Alk at different times?

As many as you wish. I dose on the hour alternating alk at top of hour (1:00) then CA at bottom of hour (1:30). I tried dosing alk at night to keep Ph consistent (to battle the usual daytime drift upwards) but that seemed to have awful swings along with other stuff. So it was seemed to always drift around. This schedule along with other things seemed to have lined it out.

I spread mine out over 24-hours. Ca starts 15 minutes after soda ash. I dose Magnesium once a week.
