Dow flake?

My tank's calcium consumption keeps increasing and I need to mix up some more homemade b-ionic. I know where I can get baking soda, but where can I get Dow Flake for part 2?

Dow flake is at purity supply in SR, they are off of Dutton ave by the simply vietnam place. If you can't find it, I have a bunch that you can come by and get some

Hey Ken,

Funny you should bring this up as I had emailed Mike about getting the recipe as he said he taught the class the last time. He said he thinks Jeff might have some Dow Flake but is vacationing at the moment. Any chance at emailing me the recipe (or talk to me about it tonight) as I have never made it before, also when my bulbs come in I will be heading for Jeffs so if you don't have the flake by then I wil try and buy some for you...Craig.

As I have never made the stuff before if any of this sounds stupid you know why

The only caution about using the two parts is that you have to test your water parameter and add it in slowly and dont do too much at once, the high fluctuation are dealy to your sensitive corals

Does purity supply in SR have Mag flake or something suitable for magnesium supplementation? Anybody know? Thanks.

no they don't carry it. we all use epsom salt.
