Alot of people who buy anemones have no business buying anemones. Plus shipping is so stressful and kills some of them, regardless of where you get them from. Sadly I am 0 for 2 including a red haddoni from the DD.. Haddoni died almost 2 months after I got it. They gave me a small credit and told me I should have kept them informed on its daily progress. That is somewhat understandable..

I have had good success from other shippers, but I don't think it has anything to do with where you get them from.

One knock with LA shipping, is the water sometimes is way too cold. Heat packs were not properly activated and thus resulting in the animal's death.

Unfortunately Carpet anemones are very hard to keep. When you add shipping, it cuts their survival rate down even more. Youre better off looking for one in one of the local fish stores and make sure it's been with them, alive, for awhile.
