Hello,

i think this animal is a Lysiosquillina glabriscula. The animal needs a sand bed as deep as animal is long.

if so that is a very rare mantis, arent those the ones that have the ability to flouresence? or is that a different species of Lysiosquillina?
 
Your best bet to make it bigger is to put it into Photobucket and then post it. They usually do a good job of sizing it appropriately!
 
Well, we know it is a male lysiosquillid. Beyond that, it is hard to say. Not only L. g. fluoresces. Do you know where the animal came from?
