It has become significantly more entertaining to read speculation as to my whereabouts and activities than to post anything about progress to the tank, however, I'll post a few updates, and hopefully some pictures after the weekend of the 29th, as I'll be in the same county as this tank.

-- Skimmer, doser, denitrator are online
-- 320 gal and 75 gal coral growth/quarantine tanks set up
-- On schedule to mudd and seal inner surface of the tank beginning Saturday
-- Largest shark is the Epaullette at upwards of 30", Bamboo trailing just behind.

I know its tough to sit here without updates, but my uncle is one of the few fortunate enough to have his business continue to grow through this recession, and a few DIY projects have had to be put on hold. The original completion date was set for early this year, but it may be delayed by as much as a year, and I'm not going to give you an estimate this time around. Things change, life happens. We all have things to do, and sometimes the things we want to do the most have to be put on the back burner. Thanks to those of you who understand.

^wow relax. your still here reading this thread aren't you? I'm not sticking up for the guy but some of you need to chillax. I doub't it's a hoax, it sounds legit to me. Heck I don't blame him. He doesn't live there, it's not his house,not his tank,not his money, he goes to school, his uncle is apparently busy. Give the kid a break. We all have been watching this thread for while now and not much progress has been made and no pictures have been shown in a long time now, but I'm sure it will come around and this thread will make it's way back to the top eventually. If not, who cares.

I got impatient with the dial-up speed internet out here in the middle of nowhere. Photos of the tank filling are loading now under the name KRJTweet11 . Only one has finished uploading thus far. Will upload pics of the steps leading to the fill very soon. Thanks for being patient. Its been a couple years of waiting for you guys, but upwards of a decade for me.

People often take a year to build 'normal' sized aquariums. I don't have a problem with 8000 gallons taking as long as it has.
