DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

I saw a video of the way you rake the sand in the display tank. Is this something you do on a regular basis? If so, besides keeping the sand looking beautiful, is there a reason for doing this?
How often do you rake the sand?

Yes, just for looking good. I rake it twice a week.

Any chance you could do a video on all gear and tanks hidden and away in the cupboards (refugium sump frags mixing tanks skimmer soft corals uv camera warmer oven reactors pipework etc) would be awesome to see and hear you talk about all this stuff!

Thank you. I will do a video once I have some free time.

Chingchai, are you going to keep that blue mask angelfish...?

No, not in this tank.
I will put him in our club's tank.

I sure hope you have a safety strap on your camera! I hate to think of you accidentally dropping it in the aquarium and trying to recover it. :o

Great video. Wonderful growth and colours.

I must say I was wrong, when you took out your live rock,I felt it would hurt the tank. I am so glad I was wrong,SPS look great as does the tank. Thanks for the Vid. and all you do for your reef brothers. Mike

Amazing,as always ching!
Thanks for the video
It looks like,in some short time corals will outgrow the tank...and for a tank this size it's something remarkable,to say the least

Belated happy birthday :)
I pick up a small xhatch trigger pair because you inspire me sir

Amazing Video!! What a wonderful creation. Thank You!

Do you see any difference in growth or color of the corals using the LED's versus the VHO's?

Also, what bulbs are you running in the the Metal Halides now?
