DSPS tank from Thailand (1000 gallon+)

I haven't been around these boards very long... I was enticed in because a friend gave me a very small 30 gallon fish tank as a gift. It took me a year to decide I wanted to try Salt Water and I had all the people at the fish store helping me. We are on a first name basis actually.

The thing is when I want to do something I eventually get very involved in it, wanting to know the why's and what's. I came to Reef Central for some help and just to learn. When I came across your thread I started reading it like a good novel, a novel with amazing pictures. Then when I got towards the end you linked Peter's thread which I have now read in full as well.

I feel like I am getting my PhD in reefing from these threads. Thank you so much for taking the time to document what you have and for sharing with us.

You have made this girl even more obsessed than I was bound to be. I even have gotten permission from my better half to upgrade to a 125 gallon this year some time. It's going to take me quite a few months just to save to get things, I'll probably do it one a time, but again thank you so much for opening my eyes that you can literally have a piece of the Ocean in your home.

Much Love,
Alex

Alex. You are welcome.
I am so pleased that my build thread can inspire you and other reefers.
And I look forward to seeing your build thread as well.

Cheers,

Some snapshots yesterday, just want to show that my tank is still up and running.

Chingchai, thanks for the nice photos. I never grow tired of looking at the photos or reading this thread. I keep coming back to this thread for the never ending optimism, humility, and acceptance. There are a couple of threads that share these great characteristics, and I just felt the need to share my thoughts on it.

I am glad you still with your passion, your update is bring me a reefkeeping spirit. Just one question water look little cloudy not crystal clear as always, Is any problem with it ?

I may be wrong but this tank is 120" long. The depth makes the tank look cloudy, even if the water is crystal clear. Seems to be the case with all large reef tank photos, looking down one end.

I hope you regain your passion, maybe a change of focus for your reef will give you some new goals and projects to work on!

I agree with you Jay. Got any ideas for projects for an already perfect, mature tank?

Mrs. Music. Thank you for reading my thread.
Sorry that the tank doesn't look quite good.

Anton. I have no passion left at the moment.
I just want to post updated pics of my tank.

You are right. My tank is not crystal clear due to one Razor Wrasse.
He keeps digging the sand all the time.

Kovy. Too many ideas in my head but don't know when to accomplish.
