What made you decide to use all live sand opposed to seeding dry sand?

I choose live sand because it will help my system to be stable in a shorter period of time.
I also want to use live rock but I can't.
Doing aquascape in the tank is too difficult.

Amazing progress Ching........ been a while since I was in Bangkok but your tank just give me a good excuse to visit again.....

Great light set-up!! Can get a really nice tan with all those lights

Dont test fire the lamps before removing the protective plastic. It will never come off:)

Love the attention to detail and that you are doing it so well right from the start.
Thanks for sharing!

just curious, did you ever consider using natural light?

Never.
I know why you ask this question.

First time i actually see an aquarium made from 2 inch thick acrylic. Must admit that i am impressed by the obvious clarity of the acrylic, even in this diameter ! Price must be... even more impressive...

I dont even think it is possible over here in Belgium to find a manufacturer who can make panes 2 inch thick. Damn.

The build quality is also impressive from what we can see in the pictures ! Congratulations to the man who build this.

Could you ask him what type of solvent he uses ? is it weld on 3 or 4 ?
