Let's hope he didn't take all the money questions the wrong way and decided not to post anymore. Many great threads have died because of "off topic" opinions like those posted above.

If you are still out there chingchai, please update as soon as you can, some of us are living our dream through your amazing set up.

Cheers!

No, I didn't take serious on that question.
I just have been very busy in the last two day. No time to go and see what is the progression.
I will update and post pics today.

WOW!!!

Read through most of this build thread. What a fantastic system you are building. You are putting a phenomenal amount of planning and effort in this build and I too look forward to this tank up an running.

Looking forward to more PICS!

Keep the updates coming.

Thank you for allowing us to live vicariously through your project - just the time you have taken for your postings is more than most of us spend on our tanks - very generous.

Your attention to detail and the clean elegant look is simply remarkable.

One question - did you consider using one of the automatic skimmer collection cup cleaning systems?

And on the question of people asking "how much" - I have done a couple of very overpriced adventures in the last couple of years - I answered those kind of questions by saying "well, when I bought tech stocks I put in XXXXX amount of money, and then it was all gone, and I had no fun at all with it. With my trip, I put in the money, it was gone at the end, but I had such a wonderful time that I will keep a smile inside me until I am dead. And, when I am dead, I plan to be dead for a very long time, and it won't do me any good then." (and of course a tank like this, unlike tech stocks or a trip, is actually worth something when you are done!)

I hope this brings you great joy.

Not to be rude but a system like ChingChai's can easily go $40 to $50 a gallon. So I am thinking with 1300 gallon that comes out to
$52,000 to $65,000. Maybe a little less, but the ballpark should be $50,000.

John. Thanks a lot for your kind words.

No, I didn't consider on using that automatic skimmer collection cup cleaning systems.
I have a fish-guy living with me and he is very good on taking care of my tanks.
