dtum's Pragmatic Reef - 180 Gallons of Adventure

Looks slick.
How are you liking those sweeping returns? Do they make noise?

They are silent, I don't think I hear anything. And I really like them a lot, I'm used to a fixed lock-line and this is such a welcome upgrade. I have it running on the slowest setting so far, so yes, great great great addition.

Pragmatic Reef has hit a 2 month mark. That means an FTS is in order and so is a video update (coming soon) that will go over the sump/equipment.

The corals have been growing very fast, so fast that I've had a few alkalinity dips already. Fish are doing semi-well, powder blue is covered with ich, but I hope that he will pull through.

The biggest challenge on my agenda right now is coral colours. I find that some of them are lacking (more photos to come), so I definitely need to improve upon it.

And here's a video update for a 2 month mark:

Oh, and it turns out my aquarium has been featured on Advanced Aquarist site. :)

BTW, that wrasses is sweet! What is it?
Pic from the new Canon?

I got me that Flame Wrasse today. Female in mid-change to male.

That's melanurus wrasse, a very cool fish. Been with me for a long while.

Yep, that's one of the first tries with my new Canon - so far I'm liking it a lot. Shooting JPEGs for now.

We will need to see a photo of a flame wrasse! But those guys are awesome.

Pragmatic Reef is now 4 months old. Enjoy the new video.
