Dutch reef

I just wanted to let you know that I just had a wonderful stay in your hotel. I had no idea about the reef tank until I walked through the front door that fateful Thursday night. Just a fantastic tank.

I took pictures on my phone and just published a thread in our reef club forum on RC (Upstate Reef Society in Upstate New York - Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, & Albany) to show everybody my wonderful find! Here's a link to that thread:

Your tank is absolutely gorgeous. I aspire to have a tank that looks like yours one day. In the meantime, I hope that I get another chance to come back and stay at your hotel again (and hopefully I'll get the same room again!) :spin2: If I do know that I am coming back, I will be sure to get in touch with you beforehand so that I can get the nickel tour.

Cheers!

somehow I missed this one!

Jason just tipped me off after seeing it in person.

Incredible aquarium. Congratulations!

I definitely would give this a look for TOTM.

International. Openly on display for patrons to appreciate. SPS under T5's. Zeovit. etc etc etc....

Such a nice job

Your corals look great! Thanks for the update.

What injector are you using on your revolution the original black or the newer white one?

Thank you Zaheda !

Bob, I do not use the KZ skimmer any more. I now have a Bubble king mini 200.

Any particular reason? I ask because I wondered about running an undersized needle wheel skimmer on my system.

Over time I was not happy with its performance. Also the cleaning is such a strugle if you compare it to the BK.

My KZ skimmer does require more attention than my ATB did. How long has it been since you made the switch? Have you noticed a difference in polyp extension or color?

Thanks,

Hi Bob, no difference in colour or polyp extension since the change a couple of months ago.
The only difference is that BK is much more easy to clean.

That's good to know. I do miss the consistent performance and easy maintenance of my ATB.

Thank you,

Thanks Elliott !

I beleive water quality is most important. Of course it is never one thing, Everything has to work together.

Great growth, nice color.
I wish I can see your tank in person someday.
All the best.

Hi Chingchai, thank you for your kind message !

It would be a great pleasure to welcome you to our hotel one day.

I would love to see your tank in person too ! I love Thailand and it was too long ago since my last visit. ( almost 10 years ago ! ) The beautiful and kind people, the delicious food, the incredible wild life, thai boxing.... I can go on and on... I still dream about it. :)
