Amazing , can you tell me what are using for mechanical filtration ? are you using filter socks ?

Thanks rpjaws, I stopped feeding the shrimp live star fish. I felt a bit strange doing this.

Thanks Faisal, I do not use mechanical filtration other then the skimmer.

I love it how you merge your hobby with your business in a very positive way. If i ever visit Amsterdam, i will surely book a room at your hotel. Your tank is simply breathtaking. My favorite pic among others is this one:

This pic displays the surreal beauty of your tank at its best. You cannot see the live rock anymore. SPS corals overgrowing eah other like they do in your tank is a clear sign of superb husbandry.

I really loved this beautiful Undata but sadly it lost to the red monti and the danae. This picture is from a couple of years ago. It is so facinating to watch the battle for survival amongst corals. Some get along very well and respect each others borders and others just devour each other.

I think we ( my good friend Martin and me) achieved this by sticking to the basics of Zeovit, keeping the water as pristine as possible, watching the animals closely and lots of patience.

Also it is good in this hobby to have a good mentor. Mine is Thomas Pohl from Korallen Zucht. Although I never met him in person he always gave me quick straight answers when I had (stupid) questions.

I look forward to welcome you if ever you visit our lovely city.
