dyed anemone?

So, I have a question about anemone colors. So this one guy at this one place said the anemones weren't dyed but they had these neon green carpets with pink mouths. That isn't normal right? Also, they had these light purple anemones with pink feet and what not. I asked if they were dyed, he said no. Just curoius. Thanks!

I've seen many bright green carpets, and the other could be purple LTA, maybe, but hard to tell w/out pics.
IMO asking an LFS if their stuff is dyed goes over about as well as asking a girl, "are those real?"LOL

some carpets can get a close to a neon green . He is a pic of my nem.

Here is a pic of a natural neon green haddoni carpet. This one also had a red ring around the mouth. Neon green is a pretty common color with anemones and corals alike.

Dyed anemones are usually the same color all over. It is difficult to dye the tentacles without dying the oral disk they are attached to.

The purple one is likely naturally purple LTA judging by your description.

Ok. I don't think I offended anyone with the question. I didn't really say "are these dyed" I asked "are these the natural color" lol. Also, I'm guessing it was natural by the pictures on here but they were all bleached I think.
