Dying RBTA

My RBTA split 3 days ago. Both babies were doing fine last night when i checked. I even fed them yesterday. However, today one is super stressed out and i think it's dying.

Guys, need you advices on saving it.

Mine has split a few times and the new ones don't always look good, but I have never lost a natural split. I think at this point you just have to wait. It will move if it prefers a different spot

The one that is dying looked really good like the other baby. Anyway, i have moved it to closer to the healthy RBTA as it is the original location. Hopefully, it will recover.

I've got similar situation, trying to save a GBTA. This forum is great, with many helpful, experienced people, but they will need to see your tank, parameters, lighting, etc in order to help you.

Stop moving it and changing parameters. That will add extra stress. It isn't a coral... if it doesn't like where it is, it will move to suit it better. I know it's hard, but my RBTA looked similar to that a couple times in the last 4 months without splitting. It's happy as can be right now. Some times it just deflates for a couple hours. While "rare", I've heard this could be related to them swapping out internal water.

I realized the dying RBTA has moved to another location just now. It is wide open, and apparently it is splitting again. There is a crack in the middle. Hopefully, it will survive.

These rapid successive splits are a bad sign. Usually it's a last-ditch survival effort. What else is going on in your tank? Any other anemones? Nutrients in check?

I have another RBTA that is super healthy, so is the hammerhead and frogspawn. I just added some reef food to the tank. Hopefully, this will help.
