Just a heads up to anyone who is going to restock, or build a clean up crew. Peice-of-the-reef on ebay has some amazing prices on all of their inverts.

I managed to get:

100 blue leg hermits
20 turbo snails
9 emerald crabs
6 peppermint shrimp
50 cerith snails
2 cucumbers
50 nassarius snails

All for $140.05 Shipped overnight with an arrive alive guarantee.

I paid liveaquaria about $120 for about 1/4 of that almost a year ago.

Nice, Keep us updated on how they turn out. I bought 500 blue legged hermits on ebay before, they were around $80 delivered. When they came in, they were TINY, though. I actually recieved 600, and they grew up rather quickly. I was impressed.

I purchased 10 ceriths, 10 nassarius, 1 peppermint shrimp, and a blue ricordea from them. Arrived about a week ago. The ricordea bag had no water in it and it didn't make it (No fault of theirs though). I sent a pic of it and they agreed to replace it with my next order.

All the inverts were great! Would definitely do business with them again. Shipping was cheap too.

link?

I'm currently on my iPhone and can't link, but just type in hermit crabs on the eBay search and the vast majority are from the same seller, piece of the reef.

Oh! I forgot to mention, right now they are doing a sale. Most of the items are 20% off, which is another reason it's so cheap. The sale ends in about 6 hours I believe...

Since this is on the front page I will use it to plug this article.

Basically a lot of ebay nassarius that are sold as algae eating reef snails. Sure they eat algae but they are not reef snails and can come with nasty side effects. I noticed one of the ebay sellers selling these removed the actual type of snail to keep people from hitting that article on google when looking them up. Anyways if you see someone selling snails for an insanely cheap price and they are located in a non-tropical beach location be aware of what you are actually getting. North Carolina.... forget it, do not buy.

The seller that the original poster purchased from does not sell the bad ones.
