Ed Reef's Shallow Crest Inspired ART

Beautiful tank Ed, something to really aspire to.

Just a quick question, apologies if it has been asked before, but how do you find the 400W lights over such a shallow tank? Have any of the corals not been able to adapt to the light? My tank has a water depth of around 50 - 55cm and I am thinking about upgrading from 250 to 400W but am concerned it might be a bit too much. On the other hand, I don't think my 250's are quite enough, I used to run them on my 40cm deep tank and was happy with the amount of light then.

Thanks in advance,
Dave.

It is strange, Flo, but I feel very at home in Wien. I'm at home when I get in to Stephans Platz and have a wurst from a cart with a good beer. Also don't mind Altaussee where one of the relatives has a country house. Of course, any of the ski villages is just fine :lol2: When the downhill racing is on Eurosport I'm glued to the TV.

The world is just a short airline flight away :)

Tone

PS Ed, sorry to hijack your excellent thread like this

hi!

that´s good to hear!
Vienna is a great city and the rest of Austria has also a lot to show! ;)

Jeah Ed, sorry!
But where is a update? :D

Flo

Great looking tank. Must have to frag constantly in order to keep things manageable and to keep things in proportion. Looks great though

Thanks for sharing your results Ed. Its very interesting about the mg. I would also be curious to find out if it was consistant acorss their complete line.

Does anyone know what happened to Ed last post was 12-14. I hope all is well and he is just waiting to surpise us with a killer update of amazing growth and color.
