sorry to inform everyone but after some digging I found ed on another site...earlier this march the system crashed severely...it sounds like there was some issues with the calc reactor and maybe some other things but to sum it up

-he went out of town for a day or two to get some more zeovit rocks
-came back and there was diatoms all over the sand, and it was covered in dead snails
-parameters where all wacky
-skimmer pulling out dark coffee like substance
-most colonies lost a few survived but they were very pale, with little to no PE

said he has some issues to work out and he will be back...
he had alot of people worried since no one had heard from him since the big quakes over in china........
