The port seems to work and I was able to calibrate the probe accordingly

Cross checks it with my refractometer and the readings seem to be spot on. I'm so please it works as I was taking the risk of cutting up a brand new port!!

I had the same issue with my test kit for mag. as well.
I have a Salifert and Tropic Marine, I normally get between 80-100ppm variance between the two, being TM is the higher one. Both well within the due date.

It maybe a good ideal to go head and bring dkh up. Your corals maybe begin to use it up. While it not that low be easy to bring it back up.
