When you have time make your egg create box smaller and paint it black with Krylon Fusion and it will blend better. Once painted it won't stand out and is a lot better than killing marine life with a power head

Got back from vacation and my cobbled together eggcrate vortech cage worked as hoped: no anemone purée. No path of destruction either.

Yeah, right! I'm sitting on the beach all week thinking about all the things that could go wrong - but none of them did. Mag planted itself right in the middle top of the front glass, and that was it!
