What kills me when I look at our bill is that we pay as much in government taxes and surcharges as we do for the electricity.

Since shutting down my tank I am saving on average about $180 a month on electricity. another 11% would make it $200 per month

I looked at my bill... Taxes were 8% of total, delivery charges were 23% of total, and electric was the balance. We have ComEd. I wouldn't mind so much if my Excelon stock were going up as well.... Not one of my better stock picks. :-((

WTH! I think the worst part is their lame excuse for doing the hike now when people are consuming a lot more electricity with their AC units and such. Wholesale increase my eye! And by eye I mean my... well ... never mind ...

We're up to like $275 this past month and I'm only running nanos on T5s and LEDs.
