Elliott's Reef: 900g DT , 400g sumps

Good morning Elliott!...hey looking at your fts from the TOTM, it looks like some of the corals in the back are attached to the back wall,...did you glue them on or dose it just appear that way?

the entire length of the tank there is actually 12-18" open space from the back wall to the rock work, that is not lit, no corals are on or near the back wall

however there are GSP, ORA green birds nest and neon green Nepthea glued to the side walls in the lit area

I know you had said that you did not want to block flow or a place for detritus to collect, but the blueish coral at the top just right of center kind of looks like its hanging. What did you use to attach the side corals to your acrylic tank?---Rick

yes, it appears to be hanging, in actuality it's attached to the steep rock wall

to attach pieces to the sides walls I used a "sandwich" of superglue/thin layer of aquamend/superglue, works very well :)

Always look forward to any pics you put up of your beautiful tank Elliott! Your corals look to have doubled in size since your last video,...did you change anything in your daily regiment?...WOW :fun5:

Can you post up a link to a fullsize image? Like monitor desktop size, or even dual monitor size.

not sure how to do that, have you tried to right click on the image and choose download or wallpaper?

Inside photobucket, go to that photo. There is an option for sizes. Or even an items for sharing/links. The standard one, is just so small.

I can go to:
http://s213.photobucket.com/user/elliott3434/media/DSC_0329_zps5hcdl30r.jpg.html
and hold my mouse over the image, and click on the magnifying glass.

But it wont let me get the larger one it shows.

Let me try some more.

Holly cow! That's is awesome
How do you attached the corals to the back wall?

thank you flooddc!

actually there is 12-18" behind what you see and the back wall, nothing is attached or near the back wall, the wall is black acrylic and that area is intentionally darkened with pvc matt laid over the top on the tank in that area, the intent was to make the back wall invisible and not having to keep it clean
