Emperor Angel, Powder Blue Tang, or Quoyi Parrotfish?

I'm looking to add one more fish to my main tank. Either an Emperor angel, a powder blue tang, or a Quoyi parrotfish. Currently I have a 240 gallon with a couple corals (will eventually add more). I currently have a

hippo tang
blonde naso tang
regal angel
fox face
porcupine puffer

The puffer has been in with the corals for almost a year and no problems at all. I really would like to add the emperor angel but I'm concerned about corals and the regal angel I already have. When I add new fish to the main tank I put them in an acrylic box in the tank so the current fish can't attack them and that has worked everytime so I'm not really concerned about the new fish fighting with the current fish. I really like the powder blue tang and Quoyi parrotfish but I understand there could be negatives to them as well such as aggression from the powder blue or coral nipping from the parrotfish. If anyone has suggestions please let me know.

I would probably do the Emperor, but they can get quite aggressive once they become the dominant fish in the tank. Have you thought about the Blueface Angel. IMO, little more laid back than the Emperor.

A Regal angel or Majestic angel. We don't call the Regal or Majestic for no reason. Both are semi reef safe which is as good as you can get in term of reef safe angels,

Any personal experiences with emperor angels and corals? That really is the fish I want. I dont have very many corals right now so I can go in any direction with corals to make them work with the Emperor.

Tough choice! Those are three of my favorites. Emperor is my favorite fish, period. The parrot gives you the wow factor since you don't see too many of those. And powder blues are just really dang pretty.

I'd probably go with an emperor. Powder blues are pretty mean too, so the aggression is probably a wash.

Now since you keep some bigger fish (puffers, big tangs) why not add an Australia Harlequin Tusk? Awesome fish....

Champagne problems choosing between these awesome fish.

Out of your wish list of three, I would go with the Emperor. I would look for a juvenile smaller than your Regal. My big guy would grunt when other fish got in his way and never bit any other angels or tangs. My Powder Blue always tried to challenge him with the side slapping but he learned to turn away in time. Always out front and center and it could spot me from across the room. Great personality. He eventually ate most of my corrals and water quality suffered from all of his eating for any SPS to survive. It outgrew my 90 in three years and I had to give it away. Someday I hope to get a bigger tank (240-300) and try one again.

Quoyi Parrotfish for sure. Powder blues and emperors are both extremely aggressive, especially the larger they get and to new additions. Also I believe that a 240g is on the minimum tank size needed for both too, granted thats my personal opinion and others will disagree but my emperor was far too mean in the undersized 220g it was in.

I have two emps and a powder blue in my 240 gallon tank. Just missing the quoyi for the trifecta. I would say you can choose any or all of the above and be fine. My emps are grouchy, but not aggressive. The larger grunts a lot and basically tells the other fish to "stay off my lawn" but otherwise is no issue. Powder blue is never a problem. Never had a quoyi but was looking for one.

Only caveat for me is that I have a fish-only so the coral issue is definitely a factor for you.

I have a love/hate relationship with powder blues. Great fish and active but very very nasty to any new fish. Had to take him out for a month last time. Emperor is a favorite but they can grow fast and be very dominant, but not as nasty as powder blue. My 2 1/2" xmas juvi grew to 9" in a little over 3 years. Never have had a parrot fish.

I would do the parrot or emperor and only the powder if it is you last fish.
