Emporium Pets in W-loo MOVING!

I just got off the phone with my dad and he said that Emporium pets in W-loo is moving. Their new location is going to be on University in W-loo right across the street from Tractor Supply. Where the old Best rental used to be. I guess they're supposed to be moved in by april. Hopefully with a "fresh" building things will be much better in there! Maybe now you won't stink all day after being in there 5 min!

My dad said they have some pretty good deals on livestock, if I had time I'd run down there but I'm busy all day! Plus when he bought a couple fish they gave him a $5 off coupon for the new store when it opens.

Just thought I'd let everyone know.

yeah maybe you will have enough room to change your mind without having to step outside. lol. the store last time I was there 9 months ago did stink and was very cluttered. maybe somebody in the area up there should suggest in a round about way that they should keep the new location CLEAN and free of clutter.lol

I'm glad to hear they are just moving... The other day I went in there and the employees had no clue as to what was going on. They were packing up boxes and they weren't sure if they were going out of business or moving. They had some sales but the saltwater section hasn't had much of anything new for about 6 months and the current corals are just about goners. Hopefully after they move they will be better supplied with livestock.


HAHA you're right about the smell... My familiy always could smell it when I got home.

I went there today. They're moving already today to the old Amish Connection Store. Most of the first big room is already moved. They're givng $5 certificates to use in the new store. They have all the refrozen food $2 a pkg. Only freshwater food left, the stingrays will be happy til Spring when it will be nightcrawler time again.

If they are moving to the old Grams Pet store on University, I cant see the store being much better. Seems like the new location will be smaller. At least it will be closer to me though. Not really impressed with the Emporium. They really jack the prices up. You can find a good deal once in a while,if you can get someone who knows anything to help you.

They told my dad that they're moving to the old Best Rental/United Rental store. Not sure if that' which one grams was in or not.

Lori, you say they're moving into amish connections old building?

Maybe they bought the whole building and are going to knock some walls down and open it all up!

I just heard they are moving into the entire bulding. They want to have the new store open in a week or 2 but it'll probably be a little longer than that.
