Emster's no powerheads allowed reef

Not sure how much you want to spend but I would just start off with a new point and shoot like my a 720is. I would probably buy one of the new ones that you can put underwater just drop it in the tank and start taking pics. If you buy a SLR like my 40d it gets expensive fast $600.00 just for a macro lens. I find the cheap point and shoots take very good pics and so much easier to use and faster to pick up and start shooting

I do have a canon point and shoot but it's a couple of years old. Takes decent pictures but I have looking to get a proper DSLR for a few months now. I've been messing around with a friends 550D and D90 and still can't decide which way to go.

Loving the new pics btw. That Ricordia garden on the sand bed is stunning and so are the zoas in the first picture of your last sequence of photos.
 
Emmett , I have to come over , and see your new 180 in person . I know it looks even better than the pics , because your 90 was way better than the pics . Your corals are the most beautiful I have ever seen .
