I have a Euroreef skimmer that has a blown Sedra 3500. Does anyone know if the replacement Sedra 3500 for the ASM is the exact same model (same fittings, etc.) as that for the ER? I need to order one quick, and I only found one for the ASM!

i'm 1st BACK OFF

i doubt an eheim will run on my RC80 i'll have to get a bigger model i'm sure a Euro-Wheel upgrade to the RC80 then sell it for the Eheim upgrade :smokin:

Release an Eheim powered recirculating skimmer without a $1000 price tag.

Is this based on the Eheim 1250 NW pump that is due out, or will there be a 1260 version as well?

September.... I'm looking at switching from my MRC to either RC750 or a Umm... Competitor with a hefty price tag that starts with a D... I would get the Euro in a flash with the mystery E pumps... I hope I can wait that long

ER seems to be distancing themselves from ASM which is a good thing. When the only real difference was body material, but same pumps it was pretty hard to justify the price difference. Now that they are improving pump designs and model offerings, have recirculating models, (although footprint size needs work) they are more in line with higher end brands.

ASM need to watch out the those PC Octopus skimmers. They look like REALLY nice skimmers for the $$.

Oh yeah, Aqua-C... Forgot about them. I don't lump them in the same category since they are not NW like ER, Deltec. H&S, ASM, etc.

LOL... okay, okay, you can have the first one. But I want the second!

SJM, your right, put one out for under a G ($800-$850 range) and the oversees companies are gonna have watch out. But we'll see. I'm sure ER is doing this to make as much money as they can, so I wouldn't be suprised to see them right around the same price as the other skimmer companies.
