Hi guys,
I live in Brazil and here we don´t have many informations with this Pigmy Angel.

I wanted to know what you think about this fish for my tank with 120 g. with soft´s corals,large polips corals and a little of small polips.

And still with more 2 small Angels,Bispinosus and the Flame Loricula.
Sorry for my english,i hope that you understand,rsrsrs
Thank´s!

I have a multicolor angel with a flame, pair of golden, pair of flame back, pair of multibar, trio of bellus, and a goldflake angel.

The multicolor is full grown and well behaved. Other that being dark colored and my 2nd ugliest fish, it is very well behaved and doesn't bother anything in my tank.

I have over 100 sps colonies, 20+ LPS (Hammers, Frogspawn, Torch, Elegance), literally hundreds of zoas & palys, Green Star Polyps, Xenia, Leather, Blastos, Acans, and clams.

I have a brain coral that did not do well. But the multi-color wasn't involved with that.

Thank´s Guys!
I have a Bispinosus with 1 year and 6 months on my tank.
I don´t know if i put first the Loricula or the Multicolor,have diference about the actions?

Had a multi color in a tank and he loved SPS. Unfortunately they were smaller frags and did not survive so he was evicted. Loved that fish, just loved my corals more.

I have one that turned dark and less attractive then went white again. Must happen when being the dominant angel or vise versa. Or changing sexes idk.

Mines very passive for a angel and not a coral picker. Great algae eater tho, plump fish. In tank with a juvie regal, flameback, and emperor. The regal does the most damage go figure...

I have a flame that will pick on a newly added coral then stop a couple days later. Kinda odd.

I'd love to get a multicolor in my 125.

I disagree. I've seen very well fed dwarf angels pick at corals relentlessly, while others didn't.

I feed heavily 4-6 a day sometimes more
I had about 20 dwarf since I feed that frequent, no one nips at anything.
Also it really helps if you get a dwarf angel that is small so it can be train not to eat corals.

Large angel is a different stories for me.

I think it depends of the nature of each fish..
But for me don´t have much problem because i prefer the Large Polip Stone Corals.
What about the agressivity ? After Bispinosus,i put the Loricula or Multicolor?

Mine was reef safe but I dont keep meaty LPS like brains, acans, etc. Mine also got dark and frankly not very attractive after a year or so. Also, he was very aggressive. He was the only angel in a 180, I added a smaller majestic after him and within a few hours he had torn him up pretty bad. I put an eggcrate divider in for a month to give the new guy a chance to recover and get to know the tank. After removing the divider they were able to coexist, but the multicolor still charged the majestic any time he saw him in the open.

Anybody know why they darken? Mine was light then dark and now light again.

On a side note. I have one in my 150 and while I do him nip at corals, he doesn't seem to do any damage to the corals

This is only my theory, with just my own experiences....

My theory (( which I am sure someone will have opposite experiences )), has to do with water changes, or lack there of..

Just under 2 years ago, mine was fairly dark. Then I moved to a new place, and in the process I ended up doing a 50% water change and was really good about weekly 5 gallon water changes (( 65 gallon tank )), and it became white again;

About 8 months after that I had back surgery #6 (( January )) which really slowed down my water changes. When I started to get healthy enough life got busy and I didn't do many water changes, in turn it got darker;

However, I have been better over the last couple of months about the water changes and has gotten whiter again (( need to get an updated pic )), but this short bad video gives an idea
