Experts on the Oregon tort

Can someone advise what version of the Oregon Tort this Is? ORA, Upscales, etc.

Wasn't the ORA Oregon taken from the upscales lineage? I have only owned the one that came from upscales. It would be very difficult to tell from that pic anyways. If they are different one from the side would be better.

I actually have an Oregon Tort question too: Where does everyone have theirs placed in their tanks? High flow and light?

Doesnt look like Upscales or Soutas Oregon Tort to me...The local Oregon Tort I have seen(i live in Portland, OR) looks more like a melted candle...smooth. Soutas had a strain going for a while.

I keep my Torts in high flow, medium light. Once upon a time I had a nice size Tort that browned out due to being in too high of light. There isn't much worse than a nice big Oregon Tort that is the color of mud...

Looks more like a Cali tort...

My Oregon tort is up high in med to high flow

Ive never seen any Oregon tort look like that before... whered you get it and who told you it was the OT?

I agree the green makes me think its a Cali tort. I keep my cali tort medium light and high flow and my blue tort high light and flow.

from looking at the picture it doesn't say oregon tort to me. looks more like a cali tort in the picture
