Extentsion Tube Shot 40D

So we recently picked up a set of extension tubes off ebay for $1.67. Its tough to get great macro shots with the stock lense on the 40D. So we wanted to see what the other options where before purchasing a expensive macro lense. Its tough with manual focus but we did manage to get one good shot last night.

I'd say it was worth 2 bucks.

$2 well spent.
As i am sure you have noticed, DOF is VERY shallow when shooting with tubes and focus is critical. Manual focus is a must. AF, even if the tubes allowed it, would have a tough time.
