Hi Everyone,

The club will be hosting Family Fun day at the Long Island Aquarium on Saturday Aug 5th 2017, in an effort to keep things running smoothly please note the changes for this year.
  • The event is free to all members, membership must be current and we will not accept renewals at the event.
  • Family memberships only include member, spouse and children under 18; children over 18 will either need their own membership or pay the non-member admission.
  • Non-members will get a reduced admission of $15 per person.
  • Birds and Butterflies exhibit is included.
  • Behind the scenes tours will only be between 11:00 and 12:00.
  • Meet and greet with one of the Penguins will be held at noon.
  • Lunch will not be include but the cafeteria will be open.
  • Aquarium hours are 10A to 5P.
  • We will be checking people in only until noon, after that you will need to pay the full admission price to gain entry; non members who paid can use the PayPal receipt for admission.
Even though this is a free event for members we are still asking people to RSVP by Aug. 4th with the following information; member name and how many guests, how many for the behind the scenes tour, how many for the penguin exhibit.

We need everyone who plans to attend to RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Please RSVP in this post or email webmaster2@longislandreef.org.

Non-members can sign up here http://longislandreef.org/ffd.html

Count me in. Membership mailed out yesterday.
It'll be the wife and I, plus our "little" (she's 16, now. it's been a while) one.
Don't need a behind the scenes tour, but it would be great if I could get my wife and daughter up close and personal with a Penguin.

I need to add one, non family member. As with my wife and kid, a penguin meeting for Sophia would be very much appreciated. I hope it's not too late for this addition.
Also, does anyone know the price for the discovery boat? Is there a discount for the club?

I'm sorry to have missed this, both my kids ended up with Strep :( If it were just one, I might have ditched them... :)
