Fantastic Frags

Has anybody had any experience with this vendor? They are in the LA area and I just found their site and it looks good but wanted some feedback.

Ok. I'll chime in, fwiw. I did look up the vendor and also googled "fantastic frags feedback." Couple other reef sites with comments. Prices looked reasonable at about 20 bucks a frag on the sps and alot of photos on zoas. Noticed the Fedex shipping seemed high.

Grant- You are you thinking group buy. LOL

had spotted what looked like a good vendor and wanted feedback from you guys one way or the other. Group buy or club buy if somebody knew of them.

Now you guys jump in. I thought this thread was DOA after 50 lookers and not a single reply. Thx for posting.

I have never heard of them before reading this post, but I felt bad for you after the whole picture epidemic, so thought I'd do some digging :lolspin:

I attend a lot of events with Paul @ Fantastic Frags. His stock always is impressive and reasonably priced IMO. The one shipment he sent me was packed stellar and it's one of my favorite pieces right now (Darth Maul porites).

he'll be at BAYMAC in 9 days so you can check his stock out in person :)

You think someone would buy these lol

James a few of them are from your place and they are coming along. I do like the Nasuta but it's going to take some time to turn into anything as it seems to be a real slow grower, at least in my system, but has real nice purple polyps so we'll see.

in the third picture of the most recent set, what's the acro right in the middle of the picture (behind pink milli, tall, very large polyps) - scientific name or popular name is fine?

Grant, I love that blue purple thing in the middle of the picture, I am still hoping for an accidental frag of it LOL.

BTW, I am nursing your encrusted strawberry short cake frag so when it colors up then it is yours. I accidentally broke off a tiny piece from the last frag swap and glue it onto a plug and the plug is fully encrsuted, I am waiting for the branching to form.
